Columbus Library is one of 18 libraries within the Salt Lake County Library System. South Salt Lake is a Refugee Resettlement City with more than 30 languages spoken here. According to census data, more than 36 percent of residents speak a language other than English at home. That diversity is evident in our patrons and provides the library staff and the community with tremendous opportunities to serve and learn from other cultures. Our goal is create programming that engages this abundant diversity and appeals to a broad spectrum of our patrons.
