The Dedham Public Library services a community of around 25k people. We consist of two buildings: a larger main library and a smaller branch library. We are located in a suburban area outside of Boston; a majority of our patrons are white and speak English, though diversity has been on the rise over the last decade or so. We currently employ 12 full time union employees, two part time non-union employees, and three non-union managerial employees. We are currently understaffed.
