We are a single-facility municipal library. We have no branches, but the High Point Museum, located two miles away, has been a division of the library since 2009. We have a staff of 69 people, including museum staff. High Point's population is roughly 112,000.

Our mission statement reads, "Nurturing the joy of reading; sharing the power of knowledge; strengthening the sense of community; and enhancing cultural and economic vitality."
