The Kanawha County Public Library is the largest public library system in West Virginia. They have nearly 100,000 cardholders. While the vast majority of their patrons are from Kanawha and Putnam Counties, residents from all 55 state counties are represented in the cardholder database. The main library is situated in downtown Charleston, West Virginia.
