Manor High School is a Title I school with more than 1,800 students in an urban/rural poor area northeast of Austin. Sixty percent of Manor students are Hispanic, 20 percent are African American, and 18 percent are white. The school library is currently staffed by a full-time librarian and a full-time library aide. Over 80 percent of their students are on free and reduced lunch.
