More than a library, we are an agent of change in our community. The Millvale Community Library opened in 2013 and was built from the ground up from a group of hardworking volunteers. Our library serves a population of 3,700 residents. We have a staff of one full-time executive director (MLS librarian) and four part-time staff.

The library prides itself in being designated as a Sustainable Small Business through the actions and leadership that promote environmental stewardship as well as financial stability. This helps us pay staff and create more community programming. The Millvale Community Library has won several awards for its sustainability efforts.
