Ouachita Parish Public Library System (OPPL) is in Ouachita Parish, Monroe, Louisiana. The system consists of ten branches, all of which are available to meet the literacy and recreational needs of the community.  

OPPL serves a population of 372,201, including the twin cities of Monroe and West Monroe and surrounding areas. There are approximately 130 members on staff. OPPL’s mission is “to advance literacy, inspire lifelong learning, and strengthen our community by serving everyone in Ouachita Parish.”
