The Rockaway Township (N.J.) Public Library serves a population of nearly 25,000, covering an area of 45 square miles. The area is semi-suburban, semi-rural. It is home to many residents that work and live locally, as well as New York City commuters. We have four full time librarians (including our director) along with part time staff.
