The Rye Free Reading Room serves a suburban community of 16k in Westchester County. We have a large commuting population and a significant portion of our youth are latchkey kids and teens, and are autonomous throughout the town using their bikes or walking. Our admin and board are supportive of trying out new program ideas, especially to bring in more teens and new adults.
