The Library at St. Ignatius College Prep (SI) serves 1,459 high school students and 49 middle school students in San Francisco, CA. SI is a community of lifelong learners with a commitment to intellectual excellence, leadership, service, and justice. Our students strive to respond courageously to the opportunities and challenges of our time. The Library's mission is to empower our learners. To this end, we teach research and informational literacy, guide access to ideas and resources, and encourage critical thinking.

The library faculty and physical environment nurture reading for pleasure and purpose, as well as collaborative and individual study and practice. We respond to sociocultural needs, innovate in response to and ahead of our changing culture, and provide excellent service to the entire St. Ignatius community.
