Tamarack District Library serves a rural area rich in agri-business and outdoor activities, with multiple small towns and small businesses throughout the district. We are staffed by three full-time and four part-time staff. Like so many areas of the rural Midwest, our area struggles to maintain economic stability for all sectors of the population. In response, it is part of our library's strategic plan to leverage library resources in support of our local infrastructure wherever possible. We provide resources for economic wellbeing, cultural enrichment and literacy of all kinds, and are privileged to serve a supportive and engaged community.
