Central Express is one of three “mini-branches” in the St. Louis Public Library system. Designed to look like a bookstore, its collection is shelved face-out which makes it easy for patrons to come in and easily see what they want. Most of Express’ patrons live and/or work in downtown St. Louis. Express has one full-time librarian, two full-time clerks and one part-time shelver.
