The Florence County Library System consists of a main library, five branch facilities, and a bookmobile, which serve the approximately 137,000 citizens of Florence County, South Carolina. The main library features the 12,500 square foot Greenberg Children's Library, the second largest children’s library in South Carolina. Also featured at the main library are the Dr. N. Lee Morris Art Gallery. Lovers of history and genealogy can browse and research in the E. N. Zeigler South Carolina History Room at the main library, or in the Mary S. Kelley South Carolina History Room at the Lake City branch library.
