Founded in 1902, the Greensboro Public Library has been serving our community for over 100 years. From a simple beginning as a single room in City Hall to the modern library system we have today, services have evolved to meet the changing needs of our customers. Mission: In partnership with the community, the Greensboro Public Library strives to provide free and equal access to information, foster lifelong learning, and inspire the joys of reading.
