Hastings Public Library serves approximately 31,205 residents in Adams County, Nebraska. We are staffed with a total of 22 employees; including a collections librarian and a programming librarian. Our community has faced the challenge of bringing adult patrons back into the library post-COVID shutdown. We wanted to create a program that focused on the history, culture, and music of our rural area in an effort to draw patrons in.
