Since 1944, the Oldham County Public Library has been providing free resources and programming that meet the informational, educational and entertainment needs of the more than 12,000 families living in the county. In La Grange, where the main library is located, there is a high percentage of low-income families and families who speak English as a second language. The library serves as a great equalizer, supplementing resources that may be lacking at home or in the school.
