The Piscataway Public Library serves a population of 60,000 residents. We are a two-branch municipal public library part of a larger consortium of over 40 surrounding public libraries. The Piscataway Public Library is dedicated to our mission of providing opportunities for all members of the community to learn and connect. The Library values access; diversity, equity, and inclusion; learning and literacy; community engagement; intellectual freedom and the right to read; and curiosity and innovation. Institution-wide goals include open access, celebrating our community, welcoming learners, and building outreach, engagement, and visibility.
