The Spokane County Library District has ten libraries that serve approximately 275,000 people throughout 12 affiliated cities and the unincorporated areas of Spokane County. The Spokane Valley Library, in particular, serves a diverse population of approximately 94,000 people. It is one of the busiest public libraries in Eastern Washington with almost 300,000 visitors and 870 programs per year.
