Takoma Park Maryland Library (TPML) is an award-winning, independent, municipal library serving those who live, work, and play in our city and neighboring communities.

TPML is a department of the City of Takoma Park, and is the only municipal library in the state of Maryland. Every other public library in the state (with the exception of the Japanese Care Fund library that has exclusively Japanese language materials) is part of a county or city system.

TPML is temporarily located in the Takoma Langley Crossroads area, at the intersection with Langley Park, where 82% of residents identify as Hispanic or Latino.
