Haines Junction Public Library serves a rural community in southwestern Yukon, Canada. Haines Junction has a population of roughly 900 individuals. The public library is staffed by one part-time community librarian, and is supported by the Yukon Public Libraries government branch. The Haines Junction Public Library wanted to increase interest in the library from children during the summer months. In the past, the library has struggled to get children interested in reading during their summer breaks.
