Our library serves a community of approximately 150,000 people. The majority of our patronage are aged 18-44 years old at 38.4%. 24.6% is the next largest age group ranged at 45-64 years old. We are a small library primarily staffed with Library Associates. We have two full-time Adult Services Librarians on staff. This makes programming for adults difficult as librarians are tasked with other duties not related to programming, such as reference desk coverage and circulation assistance. We don’t often have the staff for regular programs, so we primarily focus on one-off programs.
