PBS Books recently announced the PBS Books Library Engagement Program, a multi-faceted initiative that targets distinct areas for library engagement.Â
The initiative offers some excellent opportunities for libraries. One Library Engagement Program is PBS Screening Rooms, in which PBS Books facilitates national screening events for libraries across the country, and in select areas, facilitates live speakers.Â
'In turbulent times, what do we share in common? Thatâs the main question asked in one of the most widely carried PBS documentaries of the past year, "American Creed," which profiles citizen-activists around the country who are grappling with their communitiesâ deepest divides.
